Ready for a new page?

Therapy for kids, teens, and adults working through anxiety, depression, relationships, and the big changes life throws at you. In person in Livonia, Michigan, or online from anywhere in the state.

You don't have to have it figured out before you get here.

Maybe you've been carrying something heavy for a while now. The anxiety that hums under everything. The low days that keep stacking up. A relationship that feels harder than it should. Or maybe it's not even about you. Maybe you're a parent watching your kid struggle and you're not sure what they need.

Whatever brought you to this page, I'm glad you're here. Reaching out is usually the hardest part, and you're already closer to it than you think.

I'm Annaliese, a licensed therapist in Livonia. My practice is called Open Page Counseling because I believe your story isn't finished. Wherever you are right now, there's a next page, and you get to have a say in what's written on it.

What we can work on together

Anxiety & Stress

When your mind won't quiet down and your body won't relax, everything feels harder. We'll work on understanding what your anxiety is trying to tell you and building real ways to calm it.

Depression

Some seasons feel gray and heavy, and getting through the day takes everything you have. You don't have to white-knuckle it alone. There is a way forward, and we'll find it together.

Relationships & Attachment

The way we learned to connect early in life shows up in how we love, argue, trust, and pull away as adults. Understanding your attachment patterns can change how every relationship in your life feels.

Life Transitions

New job, new city, breakup, loss, becoming a parent, an identity shifting under your feet. Change is disorienting even when it's good. Therapy gives you steady ground while you find your footing.

Big feelings show up differently in kids. Meltdowns, worry, school refusal, shutting down, a teen you can't seem to reach anymore. I work with children and teenagers in a way that meets them where they are, and I keep parents in the loop so you're never guessing.

Kids & Teens (ages 7+)

Getting started is simpler than you'd expect.

2. We talk. We'll set up a free 15-minute phone call so you can ask questions and get a feel for whether we're a good fit. Fit matters more than anything in therapy, and it's okay to be choosy.

3. We begin. We'll schedule your first session, in person at my Livonia office or online, whichever feels right for you.

1. Reach out.

Send a message through the contact form or give me a call. Tell me a little about what's going on. No pressure to say it perfectly.
